Do you want to serve in the Trail Life ministry? We'd love to have you! It's a blessing to see young boys become leaders of men. In the Trail Life logo, a Trailman is leading the way and waving his hand to call others to follow. We help shape them as leaders by demonstrating leadership as Christ-following men.
To become a registered leader, you must complete a background check, youth protection training, and pay an annual registration fee (covers background check, youth training, and administrative fees). If finances are a concern, the troop will cover adult registration fees. We do regularly offer discounts for campouts to our registered adult leaders. Leaders must abide by the Trail Life USA Statement of Christian Faith and Values as well as the Oath and Motto. Please see: www.traillifeusa.com/distinctives/
As a leader, you would be representing a ministry of Restoration Church. Our leadership is comprised of families and leaders from many different local Christian churches. We’re seeking men to serve as direct contact leaders (those who work directly with Trailmen in meetings and on outings), as the troop’s desire is to teach boys by following Christian, male, mentors.
What about moms? How can we help? There are many indirect service opportunities open to both men and women, and we’d love to have you on the team!
If interested in serving, please seek out Adam Cawrse (Troopmaster) or Dan Samms (Senior Ministry Leader) at a meeting.
